About

eni – Stamps

What is “eni – Stamps”?
I’ll answer this question by asking another: “Who, in one period of his/her life, did not collect something?” From paper bags to, I don’t know…coins and electronic phone cards, we, as humans, like having things that, in our opinion, look good and are “collectable”. Asking this question leads to my answer: eni – Stamps is a simple module for my little corner of the web where I show the rest of the world my passion for stamps to share with others and maybe, why not, to exchange collectable beauty.

Since when do I collect stamps and how come?
I am or rather say was a stamp collector since I was in middle school [been collecting stamps from the age of 11]. I say “was” because I am referring to that period as a past hobby, not that I don’t like it anymore, in contraire, looking at them makes me collect even more, it’s just that…I have to make a living and my work=my hobby. This concept has been with me forever. How come? To tell you the truth, I don’t know how it started but it caught me really fast. The only thing that I am certain about is the fact that, one day, at the age of 11, I entered a shop and saw a peculiar book…I wanted it, bought it and upon inspecting it I saw lines upon lines of empty spaces…it was my first stamp glossary. I wanted to fill up the spaces and started to search for ways in how to do it. Two years further and my stamp spares numbered in the hundreds…so eventually, I gave up stamp collecting in favor of future hobbies.

How is this section organized?
Well…I don’t explain each and every stamp…I have tried to categorize them accordingly for the user to scan them easily. Basically what I have done was scanned the stamps with a A4 scanner [a bunch at a time] and displayed them on this page for the visitors like you to see…

If you have any question regarding this section or simply you want to laugh at this passion, check the forum and maybe post a thing or two regarding this subject.

As always, I am opened to talk about my hobbies so don’t hesitate to contact me ,

Ohhh...and I allmost forgot: Happy stamp-seeing! ;)
